Bangladesh eyes leather opportunities in Australia

There is considerable scope for exporting Bangladeshi leathergoods to the Australian market, according to the Australia Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ABCCI).

The organisation's leaders made this observation during a meeting with Bangladesh’s industries minister, Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun.

For his part, the minister said leather is one of the Bangladeshi sectors that could be ripe for investment from Australian entrepreneurs. Other industries he included on the list were agro-processing, technology and sugar.
