Bangladesh wants to build two new leather clusters

The government of Bangladesh will work on plans to set up two new leather industry clusters, in Chittagong and Rajshahi. It said at the time of the announcement that it wants to use the “untapped potential” of leather and finished leather products in the domestic and export markets.
Industries minister, Amir Hossain Amu, has told local media that work has already begun on selecting possible sites for the new clusters.
