Brazilian Leather rounds off European tour in Spain

25/10/2017
Four Brazilian tanneries are participating in the Futurmoda footwear components and machinery exhibition in Alicante, Spain (October 25-26). They are presenting their materials for use in future footwear collections.

Their presence is supported by the Brazilian Leather project, an initiative developed by the Centre for the Brazilian Tanning Industry (CICB) to promote hides and skins produced in the country.

Futurmoda brings to a close Brazil’s participation in a series of European leather events which has included Première Vision Paris and the Lineapelle exhibition in Milan.

"Europe is a demanding market that Brazilian tanneries can serve well. We always seek to export leather with additional value for fashion and innovation, which is exactly what the public at these fairs look for in their suppliers,” explains CICB executive president, José Fernando Bello.

The four Brazilian tanneries taking part in Futurmoda are:

Curtume Natur
Couros Bom Retiro
Nova Kaeru
Courovale
