Brazilian tanneries head to Milan for Lineapelle

03/10/2017
Brazil’s leather industry will be represented by seen tanneries at the forthcoming Lineapelle exhibition in Milan (October 4-6). They will be supported by the Brazilian Leather Project, an initiative developed by the Centre for the Brazilian Tanning Industry (CICB).

It is an important event for Brazilian companies as Italy is the second largest importer of leather from the country.

Among the seven Brazilian tanneries exhibiting is Arte de Pele, which specialises in exotic skins. It will be making its international fair debut at Lineapelle.

“Our expectations are high.  We’ve exported before, but this will be our first fair outside of Brazil, where we’ll be able to show off our strengths - hand-made artisanal finishing and special effects” highlights Luis Bocchi, the director of Arte de Pele.
