Brazilian Leather to makes Lineapelle New York debut

26/01/2018
The Brazilian Leather project, an initiative developed by the Centre for the Brazilian Tanning Industry (CICB) to promote hides and skins produced in the country, has announced it will exhibit at the forthcoming Lineapelle New York fair (January 31-Feburary 1) for the first time.

There will be five Brazilian companies representing the country’s leather industry at the event, which takes place twice a year in New York, in January for summer collections and in July for winter collections.

One of the companies that will be in New York is Rio Grande do Sul’s Cortume Krumenauer. Its commercial director, Joel Kummenauer, said: “Our expectation is to come into contact with important US brands since New York has offices from virtually all the major brands and also some smaller, but still potential, companies.”
