Roubiki cluster to benefit from Siemens partnership

The Egyptian Trade Ministry has signed a deal with electronics company Siemens to upgrade the technology of the country’s industrial zones.

The German giant will contribute to the digital transformation of local industry by providing a range of innovative products and solutions.

The first stage of the partnership will focus on two industrial zones, the Roubiki leather City and the Damietta furniture city.

Under the terms of the agreement, Siemens will provide equipment for a digital training centre in the custom-built Roubiki cluster, as well as delivering training courses there.
