Luxury industry veteran joins Burberry

Mr Flore joins Burberry from Kering, where he has spent nearly 10 years. He was most recently chief executive of Brioni, having also occupied roles at Bottega Veneta and LVMH-owned Fendi.
Christopher Bailey, chief creative and chief executive officer of Burberry Group, said Mr Flore’s “extensive luxury experience and knowledge of the US market” will be of great benefit to Burberry as it seeks to develop in this market.
Mr Flore’s arrival coincides with a change at the top. On July 5, Marco Gobbetti will take over from Mr Bailey as Burberry chief executive, a move designed to allow him to focus on his creative responsibilities.
