04/01/2017
The brand has been without a permanent CFO since August 2016, when Jane Nielsen left the company. In the interim, Andrea Resnick has been acting CFO; she will now return to her position as global head of investor relations and corporate communications.
Coach said Mr Wills will take over no later than March 2017. He arrives from global business advisory firm AlixPartners LLP, where he has been managing director and CFO since March 2014. Prior to that he was CFO of Saks Incorporated, owner of luxury department store Saks Fifth Avenue.
“Kevin brings nearly 30 years of broad-based and relevant retail and finance experience to Coach. His expertise and strong operational track record make him a valuable addition to the leadership team,” said Victor Luis, chief executive officer of Coach.
He added that Mr Wills will play an important part in Coach’s “next chapter of growth as a multi-brand company”.
