Hermès designs new straps for Apple Watch

The two companies first collaborated in October 2015, when the French fashion house created three styles of straps and a series of special faces for the Apple Watch.
The new selection includes the double buckle cuff strap made from Swift and Epsom calfskin leathers. It is inspired by a sandal design by Pierre Hardy, creative director of Hermès’s shoes and jewellery division.
Hermès used its Barenia calfskin leather in the single tour deployment buckle band, which has a hidden deployment buckle. It is opened by clicking two side buttons.
“We are united by the same vision, the uncompromising pursuit of excellence and authenticity, and the creation of objects that remain as relevant and functional as they are beautiful," said Pierre-Alexis Dumas, artistic director of Hermès.
