CTC and POTECO to pool leather testing resources

After years of commercial and technical relationships, France-based leather and footwear testing institute CTC and Italian counterpart Polo Tecnologico Conciario (POTECO) have signed a deal that will allow customers access to each other’s network of experts, inspectors and laboratories.

Leonardo Volpi, CEO of POTECO, said: “This is an important step for POTECO as the partnership with CTC will provide a more complete and qualified offer - both at national level and internationally.”
CTC, headquartered in Lyon operates an international network of 18 laboratories and inspections agencies.

POTECO provides a broad range of services to the companies in the leather sector.

 “This is a major shift in our international development,” added CTC CEO Yves Morin. “Being a leading country of expertise, we had to have a greater presence in Italy with an outstanding partner.”
