Brazilian tannery A Buhler joins CICB's sustainability certification programme
Brazil-based tannery A Buhler has joined the Brazilian Leather Sustainability Certification programme as it celebrates its 70th year in operation.

Centre of the Brazilian Tanning Industry, which runs the programme, says the certification assures leather buyers of the material’s origin.

Harmonia-based A Buhler exports much of its production to the US, Asia and Europe. It has the capacity to produce 250,000 square-metres of finished bovine leather per month and employs 400 people.
