Hard work pays off for Pittards’ employees
Seven employees of UK leather and tannery group Pittards have completed a Level 2 NVQ diploma in business improvement techniques, which teaches the principles of eliminating waste, improving workflow and reducing cost and variation.

Pittards CEO Reg Hankey said: "It's great to see employees looking to build on their own skills as well as showing a keen interest in the improvement and development of the company.

"Pittards is always keen to encourage any individuals who show an interest in furthering their professional development and we would like to congratulate all those who have successfully completed this course and look forward to seeing other employees follow suit.”

Certificates were presented by operations director Jon Loxston (pictured fourth from left) and were awarded to Kevin Drogan, Matthew French, Dean Summerbell, Jason Fox, Nathan Harris, Terry Mitchell and Richard Wilson.
