Vietnam: Leather and footwear exports show no sign of slowing

Figures from Vietnam show a 23% rise in the value of leather and footwear exports from the country in January, reaching $1 billion.

Lefaso, the Vietnam Leather and Footwear Association, is targeting $14 billion of exports following a record $12 billion last year.

Exports of leather shoes in January reached 24 million pairs, a 20% increase over January 2014.
