Further growth for Vietnamese leather industry

The value of Vietnamese exports of leather, footwear and handbags increased 17% in the first five months of the year to $5.84 billion, according to Viet Nam Leather, Footwear and Handbag Association (Lefaso).

It estimates first half-exports will reach $7.2 billion — $5.7 billion from footwear and $1.5 billion from handbags – 18% higher than the same period last year.
