Tanzanian tannery safeguards water resources

The tannery has joined forces with a local abattoir and textile factory to monitor water use and develop a joint strategy for reducing their impact on the environment, according to local reports.
Kibaha Tannery is based in Tanzania’s Kibaha district, and produces wet blue and finished leather.
