Expansion for Kenyan tannery

The Kenyan government has announced a project to expand a tannery Narok County, according to local press.

It has placed orders for leather shoes for security officers and school children.

The tannery will also supply to local craftspeople making small leathergoods. 

East African Community Cabinet Secretary Peninah Malonza said the project, set up in 2014, had created 500 jobs directly and another 5,000 indirectly.
