Slight rise for Pakistan’s leather exports

Leather sector exports from Pakistan rose 6% in the first three months of the financial year to $154 million, according to the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics.

Local press reported from July to September, exports of leather garments increased by 4% to $80 million and leather gloves by 8% to $64 million, compared with the same quarter last year.

Exports of all other leathergoods increased by 15% to $4.9 million, said the report.
