Cobbler's Suggest receives $1.5 million in financing

Chinese leathergoods repair service Cobbler’s Suggest has received around $1.5 million in financing from China-based Ruihe Capital, local media have reported.

The funds will be used for marketing services and a digital system upgrade.

Today, the company is best known in China for its leathergoods repair services, but there are also plans to expand into jewellery and clothing repairs, according to media reports.

Cobbler’s Suggest is the main after-sales partner for Tmall.

After establishing the company in 2015, founder Claire Yan was shortlisted for the Cartier Women’s Initiative award in 2019, one of only three East Asian finalists.
