13/11/2019
Luxury group Salvatore Ferragamo has reported a 2.3% increase in the nine months to September 30, with revenues reaching €994 million.

Sales in China rose 16% but the region was impacted by the ongoing unrest in Hong Kong.

Third quarter sales in Hong Kong were 45% lower than in the comparable three months in 2018.

Despite this, Asia remains the group’s strongest region.

Globally, footwear sales rose 3.4% and handbags and leather accessories sales increased 4.4%.

Fragrances performed less well, with revenues in the segment falling 11%.
