China’s love for Salvatore Ferragamo grows

Strong sales growth in China means Asia Pacific is now the most important region for Italian footwear and leathergoods group Salvatore Ferragamo after seeing a 16% increase in the country in the first half of this year.

Globally, sales grew 4.6% compared with the first half of 2018 to €705 million.

Sales in Europe, the Middle East and Africa increased 3% while those in North America fell 0.3%.

In terms of categories, footwear sales increased 4% and handbags and leather accessories rose 6.8%.
