Volkswagen delivered a record number of vehicles in Q1

Germany’s Volkswagen has become the latest automotive group to report record vehicle sales in the first quarter of 2018.

The company has announced it delivered more than 1.5 million vehicles to its customers in the first three months of the year. This was an increase of 5.9% compared to the previous year. It also represents a first-quarter record for Volkswagen. 

The group’s sales increased across all regions, most notably in Western Europe (+5.6%), Central and Eastern Europe (+8.4%) and Asia Pacific (+7.7%).
