Another Birkin bag breaks auction record

A matte white crocodile-skin handbag has been sold for a record HK$2.94 million ($380,000) at an auction in Hong Kong.

The Himalaya Birkin bag, made by Hermès in 2014, was sold to an unnamed bidder. It features 18 karat gold and 10 carats of diamonds.

It broke the record set last year by a similar Birkin bag that was made in 2008.
