Italian tanners prepare for MRSL roundtable

Leather chemicals companies and luxury brands will join Italian tanners for a roundtable on the Manufacturing Restricted Substances List (MRSL) in Santa Croce on May 11.

The companies will evaluate skins produced under the Guidelines for Chemical Products for Leather and Guidelines for Fluorinated Compounds, which have been written by the technical board of UNPAC, the Italian leather chemicals manufacturers association.

Chemical companies will also present their products and colour guides for autumn-winter 2018-2019 at the Prossimapelle event in the Museo della Conceria di Santa Croce sull'Arno (tannery museum), which is running in conjunction with the roundtable.
