AICC to kick off new year with biocides seminar

To kick off the new year, the Italian Association of Leather Chemists (AICC) has organised a new seminar for tanners on the theme of biocides, which it has described as a “complex and a very current problem”.

Two speakers, Dr Elton Hurlow from Buckman and Dr Luca Ramadori from Thor Specialties, will deliver the seminar, giving an overview of the way microorganisms work and their correlation with leather production processes, guidance for the control of microorganisms and information about regulation on the use of biocides.

They will speak on January 12 in Santa Croce sull’Arno and on January 13 in Arzignano.
