Arlei reopens former Sadesa tannery

Argentinean tanning group Arlei has reopened a tannery it acquired in February from rival group Sadesa.

Sadesa announced in January that it was closing its facility in Las Toscas, in Argentina’s Santa Fe province. News emerged in February that Arlei would take over and it reopened the site on April 13, renaming it Don Arturo.

Arlei said it was pleased to have been able to guarantee continuity of production and an income for 100 families.
