Santa Croce under the spotlight

Italy’s national broadcaster, RAI, is sending its cameras to Santa Croce’s tannery district to tell the story of its history and contribution to the economy. 

Experienced tanners will be interviewed alongside small-scale leather entrepreneurs for the series, which will look at the oldest tanning machinery as well as the most sophisticated, and highlight the area’s research and development and training facilities.
