Full turn-out at Lineapelle for Consorzio tanneries

Ponte a Egola-based industry association Consorzio Vera Pelle Italiana Conciata al Vegetale (the Consortium for Genuine Italian Vegetable-Tanned Leather) has confirmed that all 22 of its member companies will take part in the forthcoming Lineapelle exhibition in Milan (September 20-22).

All 22 Consorzio tanneries are based in the Tuscan tanning cluster that spans the River Arno, between Santa Croce and Ponte a Egola. What sets them apart from the 500 or so other leather producers in the cluster is that Consorzio members are completely dedicated to vegetable tanning and committed to producing veg-tanned leather in Tuscany.

At the September edition of Lineapelle, Consorzio members will each have their own stand, where they will showcase veg-tan leather collections for the autumn-winter 2017-2018 fashion season.
