Brazilian companies optimistic ahead of Première Vision Leather

Brazilian companies participating at Première Vision Leather (September 13-15) in Paris are hoping to generate $8 million in business.

The companies are being supported by Brazilian Leather, the project coordinated by the Centre for the Brazilian Tanning Industry (CICB) and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil).

Baby Leather, a company focused on the high-end market, will be participating for the first time. Company manager, André Sehnem says: “By taking part in the event, we’re seeking to increase our participation in the foreign market, as well as create a direct channel with the European market.”

As well as each company’s stand, Brazilian Leather will present its Preview do Couro (Leather Preview) for Summer 2018. It will showcase an exclusive collection of hides developed by Brazilian tanneries looking to anticipate future fashion trends.
