Judging panel for 2016 PV Awards named

Olivier Gabet, Director of the Musées des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, will lead the judging panel for the 8th PV Awards, which are organised by the Première Vision sourcing event.

Among the other members of the judging panel are: Debora Sinibaldi, knit designer at Christian Dior; Alexandra Sandrut, head of product development at Christian Louboutin; Giampietro Baudo, Editor in Chief of MF Fashion; and Claude Vuillermet, fashion director of Première Vision Leather.

A total of six awards are now presented: three for fabrics and three for leather. The winner will be announced on the first day of Première Vision Paris (September 13-15).

In 2015 the PV Awards, which has previously focused on textiles, expanded to include leather. This decision was taken after Première Vision brought Le Cuir à Paris under its umbrella, renaming it Première Vision Leather.
