Longchamp to open six stores in India

Leathergoods maker Longchamp plans to open six stores in India over the next three or four years, according to CEO Jean Cassegrain. 

The company launched its first store in the country in New Delhi in June after signing a franchise deal with Indian company DOIT Retail Brands. Future possible locations for Longchamp stores include Mumbai, Chennai and Bangalore.

Longchamp has more than 300 exclusive stores globally and retails from a further 1,500 points of sale.
