Trumpler rewards Northampton students
Leather chemicals company Trumpler has given Outstanding Achievement awards to two students at Northampton’s Institute for Creative Leather Technologies (ICLT). It is the fourth year that Trumpler had rewarded students at ICLT who “excel or show marked improvement in their studies and/or make a significant contribution to the student experience”.

This year’s winners were Giulio Galiotto, a second year student from the leather making area of Arzigano in Italy, and Alexander Dorr, a final year student from Germany who is hoping to join a major German leather supplier in the summer. They received their certificates at the annual Society of Leather Technologists and Scientists (SLTC) in Northampton, UK.

Stephen Trantum, Trumpler regional marketing manager, said the company is “pleased to be associated with ICLT and the students from the University of Northampton”. He added that it learns “just as much from the students as they do from us”.

Rachel Garwood, director of ICLT, said she was grateful for the “ongoing support from Trumpler”.
