Trumpler-Northampton team takes to the mud

Early in the new academic year, representatives of leather chemicals manufacturer Trumpler kept up a tradition of travelling to Northampton to deliver a series of technical presentations to, and engage in discussions with, students at the Institute for Creative Leather Technologies (ICLT) at the University of Northampton.

This year, the Trumpler visit ended in an unusual way when a 15-strong team made up of Trumpler representatives in combination with ICLT staff, students, family and friends to take part in a 12-kilometre mud run.

The leather industry team joined 2,000 other competitors in the race at the Land Rover test site at Eastnor Castle, near Hereford, in the west of England.
