German leather chemicals manufacturer Trumpler recently completed a presentation to staff and students at the ITECH school in Lyon.

ITECH was established in 1988 when the French tanning school, established in 1899, amalgamated with a textile industries school that was even older, dating back to 1840 and reflecting the silk industry traditions of France's second city.

Approximately 40 year two and year three leather students,along with ITECH staff, attended the talk by Trumpler representatives.

ITECH and Trumpler both said afterwards that they hope to build upon the success of this event in the future.
