IULTCS Global Congress set for February 2017
The 2017 International Union of Leather Technologists and Chemists Societies (IULTCS) Global Congress it to take place from February 5 to 8 in Chennai, India.
The event traditionally takes place later in the year but was been rescheduled so that it follows directly after the 2017 India International Leather Fair, which will also take place in Chennai.
The 2017 congress will be co-hosted by the CSIR-Central Leather Research Institute and the Indian Leather Technologists Association (ILTA) under the slogan “Science and Technology for Sustainability of Leather”.
“Although information is easily shared electronically today, nothing can replace the direct interaction that occurs at an event like this. This helps with the sharing of ideas and creates opportunities for networking that helps stimulate those creative ideas critical for industry progress,” said IULCTS president Dietrich Tegtmeyer, adding that he was certain the event will be a success.
