Online retail giant Amazon has continued its expansion into the fashion industry after forming a partnership with luxury online fashion retailer Moda Operandi. Moda Operandi customers will be able to use their Amazon account to access the high-end goods website.

Amazon has recently taken huge steps into the fashion industry with forecasts suggesting that it could become the largest fashion distributor in the US by 2017. Amazon has so far launched seven of their own fashion brands, all of which are currently only distributed in the US.

Moda Operandi was founded in 2011 by Lauren Santo Domingo and Aslaug Magnusdottir. Its customer base is fashion lovers who previously had trouble purchasing items they had seen on the runway but that were not picked up by high-end department stores. In 2015, it had revenues of $68 million.
