Record year for Ferrari while peers celebrate continued success in US

Italian supercar maker Ferrari has announced record sales for 2015, up 6% to 7,664 units.

US counterpart Daimler also celebrated a record with a 12% rise for the year to 2.9 million vehicles sold.

In the US, the automotive industry has reported a good start to 2016, with Mercedes, BMW, Subaru and Honda among those celebrating record Januarys.
