Tanners in the western world have returned to work just at the time their Asian counterparts are winding down for the Lunar New Year celebrations (which begin formally on February 8 this year).
One possible piece of positive news, apart from ongoing demand for leather from the automotive sector, is that falling oil prices around the world are putting more spending money into the pockets of consumers and, still, products made from leather are still a natural choice for many consumers.
