Second Lectra automotive leather seminar to go ahead in April
As promised last year, automated leather-cutting technology provider Lectra is to host a second VIP seminar to discuss the automotive leather sector, with the event taking place on April 5-6, 2016 at the company’s research and development centre at Cestas, near Bordeaux.

Cestas was also the venue for an inaugural event last year with the title ‘The Future of Automotive Leather’.

Speakers returning for the second time will include World Leather columnist David Peters and Ronan Noizet from specialist automotive research group IHS. They will be joined this year by Guilherme Motta, automotive leather director at Brazilian group JBS Couros, and by Renault’s Gérard Payen, programme director for the automotive company’s new Espace programme.

Lectra has promised participants at the VIP event extensive opportunities to network with other industry players, gain valuable insight into recent trends in the automotive and wider leather sectors, interact with industry experts on what the future holds, and participate in cutting demonstrations and workshops to help improve businesses’ knowledge and performance.
