Sherborne Upholstery updates with Lectra technology

UK-based furniture manufacturer Sherborne Upholstery has become the latest to upgrade to Lectra’s Versalis and Vector cutting technology after targeting increased automation and optimisation in its processes.

The company operates two factories in England and has been a Lectra customer for 20 years.

Chris Walker, managing director of Sherborne, said: “This will transform the way we work, and will deliver significant savings and improved efficiency to enable our business to continue to grow in this competitive market.”

Lectra says it has seen a rebound of the furniture market in the UK in the past year.
