New director for Lectra in Turkey and the Middle East

Fashion and automotive are two important markets for Lectra in Turkey and the Middle East, the company said on making the announcement, saying the region has “major assets despite an uncertain context”. It said it is increasing its investment in these countries because it believes in local companies’ potential for success.
On taking up the position, Mr Susoy said: “Turkey has the capacity to remain a pivotal country for Europe. Our customers in the fashion and automotive industries are developing their leather and textile manufacturing facilities with the help of advanced technology. Their challenge is to be prepared for an expected rebound in a country that has all the keys for success. Modernising companies’ processes will only reinforce their footprint in Europe.”
