Lectra to host lean manufacturing in footwear event in Brazil

Automation technology provider Lectra will address a meeting of footwear industry leaders from Brazil and other countries on the subject of lean manufacturing during the 2016 Fimec exhibition, which takes place in Novo Hamburgo.

Footwear industry figures have been invited to a breakfast meeting on March 17 to hear a presentation from Lectra lean manufacturing expert Marcelo Minharro.

Mr Minharro’s talk will focus on ways in which lean manufacturing can “revolutionise footwear production” offering companies improved production efficiency through better use of resources, Lectra said on announcing the event.
