Brazil: Analysts forecast 2% growth for herd size in 2014

A report sponsored by analysts Informa Economics FNP says Brazil’s cattle stock will grow 2% this year.
The world's largest commercial cattle herd is expected to reach a record 198.7 million head by year-end.
The rate of slaughters is expected to grow 0.9% to 43.3 million head.
Beef exports should reach 2.1 million tonnes, an increase of 17% over last year.
