Ethiopia Tannery Share celebrates fruits of labour
Pittards-owned Ethiopia Tannery Share Company has been using its two-hectare mango farm as a demonstration site for the local school, Ejersa.
Planted in 2007/2008 to celebrate the Ethiopian Millennium, 700 trees on the farm demonstrate how quickly produce can flourish into a significant crop.
The fruits are enjoyed by employees at the tannery and factory as a supplementary source of nutrition.
