18,900 visitors to APLF’s MM&T
Organisers of the 30th anniversary event for Hong Kong-based leather show Materials, Manufacturing & Technology have reported 9% rise in overseas visitors, 8,170, to the March edition.

A total of 18,900 visited 1,210 exhibitors from 50 countries, including 97 first-time exhibitors.

Brazil was the focus country, with 38 companies represented, while India’s Council for Leather Exports brought 57.

Jacques Rostaing, from Vietnamese tannery Rostaing, said: “We specialise in finished leather and mainly sell to handbag manufacturers. The Asia market is our key focus and MM&T is the best platform for us to achieve this on.”
