US hide dealers and Chinese tanners agree stronger cooperation

The China Leather Industry Association (CLIA) and the United States Hide, Skin and Leather Association (USHSLA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to facilitate cooperation between the two organisations.

Both parties agreed to promote business relationships between US hide dealers and Chinese tanneries and leather goods manufacturers, and provide a platform for the resolution of disputes.

The deal was signed during the APLF in Hong Kong on April 1.
