Chinese association will investigate non-compliance for USHSLA

31/01/2012
Reports suggest the US Hide, Skin and Leather Association (USHSLA) has asked its member companies to provide information on any Chinese tanners who have failed to honour sales contracts.

An agreement with the China Leather Industry Association means that USHSLA will send the details to China for the local organisation to investigate instances of non-compliance.

Both organisations have agreed not to make public the lists of companies involved.
