Italy based leather chemicals group Silvateam hosted forestry sciences students from the University of Turin at its headquarters in San Michele Mondovì, Italy, during a visit focused on forestry practices and resource management. 

The company shared an overview of its work with chestnut wood, including how it sources timber and manages woodland areas. Staff also explained how forest resources are monitored and planned over time as part of its operations.

The visit centred on discussion and exchange between the students and the company team, focusing on how forestry practices are applied in practice and the skills involved in the sector.
