LVMH reaffirms leather’s circularity
Luxury group LVMH has reaffirmed its commitments around "creative circularity", one of the pillars of the LIFE 360 (LVMH Initiatives for the Environment) programme, at the ChangeNOW summit in Paris.

The group has achieved its 2023 goal of introducing new circular services following the creation of ‘repair and care’ task forces by several of its brands.

LVMH also announced the creation of LVMH Circularity, which consolidates the expertise of the group and its partners in reuse and recycling (Nona Source, the CEDRE platform, Weturn, Agence du Don en Nature).

These solutions allow LVMH to give a second life to fabric and leather offcuts, unused raw materials and unsold products.

Also during the summit, Nona Source, which reuses luxury materials, announced a series of initiatives. They included an expansion of its showroom and a new exclusive selection of high-quality surplus leathers. This solution will be available to luxury brands outside LVMH seeking solutions for recycling or reuse of surplus fabrics from previous collections.
