Hugo Boss veteran returns as RLSD judge
Christopher Körber, managing director of Hugo Boss Ticino, has joined the judging panel for student design competition Real Leather, Stay Different (RLSD) global final, taking place in Milan in October.
The competition is open to students in higher education or those who have graduated in the past year, entering designs in one of three categories of footwear, apparel and accessories.
Designs must be made using at least 50% responsibly produced leather.
Mr Körber said:"Every year, the Real Leather, Stay Different competition provides a platform for emerging talents to showcase their innovative and sustainable designs. I am excited to see this year's entries and witness how the next generation of designers are incorporating sustainability into their vision."
Gal Benjamin, last year's overall winner and newly appointed judge for 2023, added: "Winning this competition was an unparalleled experience. It showed me the potential of sustainability-focused design. Now, as a judge, I look forward to fostering creativity, innovation, and sustainable practices among the new generation of designers."
Leanne Elliot-Young and CattyTay from the UK-based Institute of Digital Fashion and celebrity stylist Mike Adle will also be on the panel.

Their collective expertise and commitment to sustainable fashion are sure to inspire and guide our participants in a meaningful way.”
Students can enter the Real Leather. Stay Different. 2023 International Student Design Competition until midnight [BST] on June 30, 2023.
