Prominent Tuscan tanner dies

Mr Caponi inherited the Arno Group from his father, according to the report, which describes him as “one of the great tanners” and says tanning “was his life”.
It adds that Mr Caponi had regularly visited the Brotini Mario tannery in Castelfranco di Sotto until recent days, and that he will be remembered for his generosity and pioneering spirit.
